Artwork from the North
The nordic landscape is the inspiration for my paintings; the thousands of lakes, forests in every corner and the most magical nights. So take a look if you want to bring a piece of Scandinavia into your home.
My story
As a young 18 year old I had a dream just like everyone else to explore the world. I packed up my suitcase and travelled to a small village in the north of France to see if I could find happiness in the new. As the seasons started passing I missed the beauty of my own home;
The summer nights that felt endless, the frosty morning walks and the moon casting light over the snow that glimmered in the dark.
They say you never truly appreciate what you have until you don't have it anymore, and in my case it was the truth.
My adventure didn´t last for long and since then I've gone back to my roots and embraced the country I originate from and the country I live in. My own adventure was just around the corner and I find the comfort in the natural world around me.
Based in the outskirts of Stockholm I spend quite a lot of time in the forests that cover our country but my true passion lies within my Finnish origin, in the far north, and that's where I find most of my inspiration. The nights consisting of picking cloudberries under the midnight sun or watching the stars on a snow covered mountain top in Levi.
